Gus Pankonien IV – President and Managing Director

       Gus began his experience in distribution while attending high school in 1982.  Knowing at a very early age that this was his career path, he obtained his Associates Degree from Houston Community College while continuing to work full-time.  Gus’s experience in distribution shifted to the rep business in 1994, where he won several honorable awards such as Achievement Award for Outstanding Sales Performance at Sony Semiconductor and Global Salesman of the year with Axon Cable.   He also received numerous awards from Epson including Most Valuable Player Worldwide.  After working and being a partner in a major firm, he decided to establish his own rep company.  He felt that with his industry knowledge, experience, and dedicated work ethic, Maxim Technical Sales would be a successful organization.  Gus enjoys many extracurricular activities including Texas Longhorn Breeders Association of America, Houston Live Stock Show & Rodeo sponsor, Houston Texans Football and Tailgating, golf, and travel.

Kim Pankonien – VP Sales and Marketing 

After graduating from Texas A & M in 1991, Kim joined the electronics components distribution industry.  Always a Texan, Kim moved from the D/FW area to Houston to pursue her career.  Most of Kim’s experience comes from her sales management role at TTI.  She has been awarded numerous sales achievement awards and has furthered her education by attending The Executive Leadership Program at TCU’s Neely School of Business.  Not only does Kim have experience in distribution, she has also worked directly for a manufacturer as a sales engineer.  The combined experience in direct sales and distribution enables her to perform multiple functions of sales, engineering, and business management.
